Race Format
Timer starts automatically when the first car crosses the loop. Results are informational only — best lap per driver, not stored.

Rolling start: Loop goes live, drivers roll out. Each car's clock starts on first crossing. Result = most laps in heat time + last lap. Re-seeded after each round.

With auto-pilot on: when a session ends, a full-screen countdown starts and staging opens automatically. At 0:00 the next session's timer starts on its own. Race director can hit +1 / -1 / Skip during any gap to extend or shorten. Individual gaps can also be edited on the race screen.
